Anyway, the September school holidays have come and gone. This time round, I was exhilarated to have my beloved mama coming over to help me with the kids during the one week holiday, as my baby nephew went holidaying in Taiwan with his parents. So his nanny, my mother, was free!
I brought the kids to various places, which I will probably blog about in the next few posts.
For now, just a few quick photos of what we've been up to in our mundane lives.
The Philatelic Museum, which was more interesting than I had expected, being our first time there. Our two boys had a blast there and didn't want to leave. Well, if you've been there and found it totally boring, just say that we are easily contented people.
The hubby brought the whole family to the Bird Park after church one Sunday. It was tiring! But a great family outing too.
We also went to watch Cars 2 movie. All I can say is, halfway through it, I couldn't wait for it to end. It's too complicated and dry a plot for kids. Is it supposed to be a kids' movie anyway? It doesn't seem to be so. Anyway, this is not a movie review, so I shan't say much. Isaac watched quietly throughout while Jaden was restless after awhile, but the popcorns and soft drinks kept him staying on his seat for 3/4 of the movie.
I'm supposed to bring them for the Smurfs movie too. Well, we'll see...
On a more exciting note, Isaac will be taking part in the POSB Kids Run this Sunday! The Daddy brought him out for a run, just to get him ready for it. Cool!
Jaden went along but in his bicycle instead. He doesn't qualify for the run this time as he's underaged. But we've signed both of them up for the Standard Chartered Kids Dash this December, so Jaden will have his chance to run then. For now, he's happy just cycling.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Sounds like an eventful and fun week for your family. I like the philatelic museum too! ...Maybe I'm a little nerdy but there's something quite alluring about the various designs of stamps - some intriguing in the stories behind them, and some just very nice to look at.
Ing, I am like you. Sometimes, I get so busy and feel so tired till I not only have no time to turn on the PC but really have no mood at all.
It's good to take a break from PC sometimes and enjoy more of the outside world and NATURE:)
Looks like you had a fruitful Sep school hols. And healthy lifestyle for the kids too, signing up for the run.
What's the distance the kids got to run? Ever thought of signing my son up but not sure what it entails.
Hi June,
yup, some of the stamps are really nice. There are even stamps that glow in the dark!
Denesa,
Yes, so agree with you! It's great to take a break from PC and enjoy the REAL stuff in life. Haha!
Joce,
Isaac ran 800m for the POSB Kids Run. As for the Standard Chartered Run this Dec, the distance is 750m. All they need to do is to complete the entire distance, whether run or walk, they still get a medal. So our boy was really excited about getting the medal. You can try sign your boy up.
