Isaac and Jaden love going to their art class. Which is a reason good enough for the hubby and I to let them continue attending. Whether they end up learning to be creative (or not), or simply just learn to colour and follow instructions, it really doesn't matter at this point. What matters is that they have found something they like, and look forward to do every week. They feel a sense of accomplishment and pride when they see their completed work each time.
Most importantly, they are learning the priceless value and skill of patience and focus. To get a preschooler to sit and complete a project over a span of a few weeks take alot of tenacity on their part, I think. And to do it cheerfully, AND enjoy it, is amazing.
And so, here are their latest art pieces.

Very neat coloring. I love the vibrant colors used and the shading effect they did.
So do you put up all their art pieces around the house?
Oh wow! gorgeous! how old were they when they started? i'm thinking of putting T in art class here but he's so tempermental with his terrible 2s now that I don't know if he'll splash paint on me if he gets angry in class! sigh.
Hi Susan,
thanks! Well, I have yet to find the time to go buy some frames... So, no, I've not put up any of their art pieces.
Just Me,
LOL! Well, they just started about 2 months ago. Isaac is 6 and Jaden is turning 4....
So talented...you can tell from their work that they're really into art! Can't wait to send Vera to art classes... :P
