More on Alphabet

In my earlier posts, I mentioned that Isaac was able to identify the letters 'A', 'B' and 'C'. I am happy to say that he has added 2 more letters into his 'memory'. Now, he knows the letters 'E' and 'O'.

Part of the progress is due to a phonics DVD that he has been watching. I bought the 'Leapfrog Letter Factory DVD' from amazon, upon hearing good reviews on it.

I let Isaac watch it and he likes it! Most importantly, he's able to learn the letters of the alphabet and their sounds just by watching the DVD. Of course, I also reinforce his learning by pointing out to him the letters that we see around us daily. In the car, at home, on the streets, almost anywhere!
